Glorious Sun Group was established in 1974. The Yeung brothers started their business venture in 1974 as a small denim jeans factory. After more than 40 years of development, The Group has grown into a diversified company with headquarters in Hong Kong, and its business has expanded to Mainland China, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada and Singapore. The Group’s core business comprises property development, financial investments, hotel, retail and export of casual wear. The Group employs about 11,000 staff worldwide.
Glorious Sun began investing in property around 1985 and holds a number of premises for leasing purpose, including One Peking in Tsimshatsui and One Kowloon in Kowloon Bay. The hotel project, Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong Kowloon CBD2 in Kwun Tong is also the Group’s important investment. The Group’s Headquarters in Mainland China, City Garden in Huizhou and the 100,000 square-meter shopping mall, One Lakeside above the West Lake station of Dongguan-Huizhou Intercity Rail Line are also the Group’s landmark properties in Mainland China.
In September 1996, Glorious Sun Enterprises Limited (“GSE”) was listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (stock code: 393). The major lines of business are financial investments, retail and export of casual wear, interior decoration and renovation.
